A booking is considered confirmed when payment is completed online or when written confirmation is provided for payment on the day of the service.
Madeira Shuttle reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify a booking if required information is missing, inaccurate, or if operational constraints apply.
4. Pricing and Payments
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payment may be made online through available payment platforms or in person on the day of the service using accepted payment methods.
When payment is scheduled for the day of the service, customers must be present at the agreed time and location with the required payment method.
Failure to complete payment on the day of the service may result in immediate cancellation and may affect future booking eligibility.
5. Cancellations, Service Changes, and Refunds
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the service booked and will be communicated at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise specified, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service may be eligible for a refund, while cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service may not be refundable.
No refunds are provided for no-shows or late arrivals.
Madeira Shuttle reserves the right to cancel a tour or service if the required conditions to safely or properly provide the service cannot be guaranteed. This may include weather conditions, safety risks, vehicle unavailability, operational limitations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
When a service cannot be guaranteed, Madeira Shuttle may offer an alternative date or time, an alternative tour, route, vehicle, or service option, or provide a full or partial refund depending on the situation.
Customers will be informed of cancellations or alternative options as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Changes to Bookings and Services
Requests to modify dates, times, pickup locations, or services must be submitted as early as possible.
All changes are subject to availability and may involve additional charges.
Madeira Shuttle may adjust itineraries, routes, pickup times, or service details when necessary for safety, service quality, or operational feasibility. Significant changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including contact details, pickup locations, passenger numbers, and special requirements.
Customers must be ready at the agreed pickup location and time.
Madeira Shuttle is not responsible for delays or service disruption caused by incorrect information or customer lateness.
Customers must comply with all instructions provided by drivers or guides for safety and operational reasons.
8. Health, Safety, and Conduct
Participation in tours and transportation services is undertaken at the customer’s own risk.
Customers must inform Madeira Shuttle in advance of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special needs that may affect service provision.
Madeira Shuttle reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any individual whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such cases.
9. Liability
Madeira Shuttle commits to providing services with reasonable care and professionalism.
Madeira Shuttle is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or third parties, or indirect or consequential losses.
Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under Portuguese law.

Madeira Shuttle shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in service delivery due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
